Broadcasting at frequency modulation 101.6, Hot FM Amolatar has the most diverse programming of any radio station in the North Eastern Region. The programs cut across all social strata of society and feature educative, informative, and entertaining music, drama, talk shows, infomercials, and religious presentations with commercials at regular intervals. We are located on Plot 4, Dubai Road, Amolatar Town Council.
Hot FM serves both the fishing and non-fishing communities of Lango and Busoga. These communities possess high consumption levels based on high disposable income, making advertising with HOT FM ideal. Over the past few years, we have built a good profile and listenership in the North-east Kyoga region. HOT FM plays contemporary music that appeals to all categories of listeners, especially the youth.
Hot FM runs a computerized network using high-end programs that manage time, commercials, music, and account operations, ensuring high-speed accuracy in service delivery to advertisers and listeners. The station also has a stand-by high voltage generator that runs all the machines both in the main studio and production.
Since its inception in October last year, Hot FM has become a leading FM Radio Station in the region, broadcasting with one kilowatt of power and covering almost 20 districts including Amolatar, Dokolo, Kaberamaido, Alebtong, Apac, Oyam, Otuke, Lira, Soroti, Amuria, Katakwi, Nakasongola, Hoima, Masindi, Mayuge, and Kayunga. Our programs are broadcast in multiple languages including Lango, Kumam, Luganda, English, and Ateso to cater to the diverse communities in the region.
