Breaking: The High Court in Lira has dismissed with costs the application for stay of execution filed by Eng. Dr. Micheal Odongo Okune, Willie Omodo Omodo and George Ojwang Opota.

“The application fails and is hereby dismissed with costs to the respondents”.

In conclusion the applicants have not satisfied the essential requirements for the grant of an order of stay of execution pending appeal, consequently the applicantion 

 fails and is hereby dismissed with costs to the respondents” reads part of the ruling by Justice Phillip Odoki which was delivered via email.
