Amolatar district lost another clinical officer in a space of one week

The local government of Amolatar district has received the remains of a clinical officer at the district headquarters.

 The late Sharon Awino passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, while being transported to Lira Referral Hospital due to complications arising from her pregnancy.

According to the District Health Officer of Amolatar, her condition was exacerbated by pressure that negatively impacted the placenta, resulting in severe bleeding.

Her husband, Dr. Dan Ongaro, lauded his late wife as an exemplary woman.

While at the district on September 19, 2024, the Chief Administrative Officer of Amolatar, represented by Principal Secretary Dezy Ekaa, acknowledged the loss of a devoted staff member, describing her as a humble and joyful young woman who was beloved by her patients.

 Ekaa noted that she was on the path to becoming a physician. She also expressed gratitude to the husband for allowing her the time to fulfill her professional responsibilities, highlighting her exceptional resourcefulness.

Sam Peter Onyang, who spoke on behalf of the chairperson, remarked that they have lost both a mother and a counselor.

The Assistant Resident District Commissioner, Tyan Sarah, urged mothers to continue in the essential act of childbirth, stressing that no mother should have to loss her life in the process.

She added that it is profoundly painful to lose someone who brings life to others.

she will be buried at their ancestorial home in Olyaka parish Namasale sub county on 20th.Sept.2024

Born in 1994, Sharon Awino joined the Amolatar District Local Government in 2021.
