The residents of Okwor village in Naveyo parish, Naveyo Namasale sub-county, were left in disbelief on October 28, 2024, after a pot was discovered in the nearby bush.

In a related development, Mr. Ogwal Patrick, the local council leader from Okwor village, confirmed that he received reports about the incident and promptly visited the site.
He mentioned that the community is actively searching for the pot’s owner and inquiring whether anyone had brought a witchdoctor into the area, indicating that they would address the situation appropriately.
Additionally, the local council leader from Kitala village in Etam town council expressed concern regarding the recent summons of 19 individuals for allegedly chasing a suspected witch from the locality.
He recounted how the community had collectively decided to vote for the witch’s departure, which ultimately led to her fleeing the area.
