Minister Amongi sets surfeit condition if Won Nyaci Muzee Yosam Odur Ebii be re-gazette

The Minister of Gender and labour _BettyAmongi MP has set a surfeit of conditions which she wants the lawyers representing Lango Cultural Foundation (ahamark advocates) to fulfill in order to enable her enforce the court order number 13 issued by trial Judge, Justice Phillip Odoki in his 31st October 2024 ruling which he directed the gender minister to re-gazate Yosam Odur Ebii as the Won Nyaci(Paromount Chief) of Lango.

According to Minister Amongi, Yosam Odur Ebii abdicated office as the Paramount Chief voluntarily and never sued government.

Amongi in her letter dated 5th November 2024 to Harimwomugasho Francis and copied it to President Museveni,Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo and top government leaders, wants the attorney for Yosam Odur Ebii to meet the following conditions to enable her re-gazzate Yosam Odur Ebii.

1. Evidedence that he has regained his title as Won Nyaci in compliance with sect 5 of the Institutional or cultural leaders act of 2011.

2.The name of the Institution which he regained his previous authority as Won Nyaci which should be entandem with sec 7 of Institutional or traditional leaders act 2011 and provide evidence which she will consult with the chief legal advisor to government (Attorney General)
