Alebtong District-Police in the North Kyoga region are seeking assistance from the public regarding the murders of two individuals in the Alebtong district.

During his weekly press briefing, SP Jimmy Patrick Okema reported that Alebtong has recorded two murder incidents.

The first victim, Akello Grace, a 58-year-old resident of Te-Ebonga village in Akura Sub County, was allegedly attacked and beaten, resulting in her becoming unconscious on December 1, 2024.

The second case involves Okullo Simon, a 52-year-old man, whose body was found in the teacher’s quarters of his residence.

Okema noted that four individuals have been apprehended to aid in the ongoing investigation.

Furthermore, Okema urged parents to exercise heightened supervision over their children during playtime.

He highlighted a case of neglect involving an 8-year-old juvenile, which tragically resulted in the death of Ayo Ventarino, a pupil at Ober Primary School and a resident of Ober Kampala.

 It is reported that on December 8, 2024; while playing, Ayo came into contact with an electric meter box, which delivered a shock that ultimately led to his death at a healthcare facility.
