By In a sorrowful development, 27-year-old Adongo Judith was discovered deceased by suicide on December 13, 2024, in Alec village, Adonyo -Imoo parish – Opali sub county Amolatar district.
This incident occurred shortly after another local woman, Hardoline Okwir, also took her own life in the vicinity.
According to Odongo Opali a resident, a villager searching for his missing pig stumbled upon Judith’s lifeless body hanging from a mango tree.
He added that Judith, a widow residing with Ayo Kizito, reportedly encountered personal difficulties, although her husband refuted claims of any domestic problems.
Odongo Oplai noted that they had recently received financial assistance through the Parish Development Model (PDM) intended for the purchase of a cow, raising questions about unspoken challenges.
Judith is survived by four children, and authorities have yet to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of her death.
The police have not yet determined the cause of Adongo’s demise.
